Dear Friends & Family,

As you know, I did not participate in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in 2015...life was just too hectic. I am pleased to announce...I'M BACK AND READY TO WALK! On July 9 & 10 I will be joining thousands of other walkers in Boston for my SEVENTH Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. This is such an important cause to me because this year, an estimated 40,000 women will die from the disease. Breast cancer takes another life every 14 minutes. Another woman is diagnosed with breast cancer every 3 minutes. An estimated three million women are living with breast cancer. One million of them don't yet know it. Because I cannot ignore these statistics, I've made a personal commitment to work towards changing it and once again I need your help.

In 2014, with your help I raised over $12,000 and this year I have committed to raise $15,000!  To date, I have personally raised over $60,000 to help fight this horrible disease.  This continues to be one of the biggest challenges I've ever taken on, but I am as excited as ever because I know it will make a real difference to the millions of people affected by breast cancer. 

The money raised is managed and distributed by the Avon Foundation, a 501(c)3 public charity with a mission to fund access to care and finding a cure for breast cancer.  The Avon Foundation funds both local and national organizations in five key areas: medical research; education and early detection programs; clinical care and support services and with a focus on the medically underserved.
