Santa Barbara 2017 will be my 7th breast cancer walk.
In 2010, I was inspired to walk in honor of my friend Maria, who was diagnosed with breast cancer at the young age of 38, and by a kitty named Tallulah, who died from breast cancer in 2009.
In 2013, our kitty Sugar was diagnosed with breast cancer.
Now, I walk in memory of Sugar and all whose breast cancer battle is over.
I walk in support of the brave warriors who are still fighting.
I walk to raise awareness that pets get breast cancer too.
On September 9 & 10, 2017, in Santa Barbara, I will again have the honor of walking 39.3 miles over two days with my team, "Sugar's Trekkers for Ta-Tas". Each team member walks for their own reasons, but we are united by one cause: ending breast cancer for everyone.
I'll do the walking, but I need your support to get there. I must raise $1800 in donations to participate and I can't do it without your help.
Please support me with a donation - no amount is too small.
Thank you,
Jeanette
