Dear Friends and Family,

I am going to try again. I crushed San Francisco last year. This year I'm going for Santa Barbara. Always happy to take a walk by the ocean!! Another two days and 39 miles of sore muscles and blisters, but I'm ready to take on the challenge!

Last year I'm proud to say with the help of friends and family I raised $12,000. Im going to try and top that this year with a goal of $15,000.  A part of this challenge thats really tough for me is that I am required to face my fears about asking for donations. But knowing that the money raised through the AVON 39 goes to fund important research and community programs both locally and nationally makes it a little easier. This is about saving lives, and I'm ready to do my part.
