Breast Cancer!

39 miles is a long walk. 26 miles the 1st day, 13 on the 2nd day.

It won't be easy, but that's why it's worth it.

Before I signed up for this race, I took a minute to think about how many people I knew who had been diagnosed with Breast Cancer.

My mother, a dear friend since childhood, numerous family friends and several colleagues. In just a few minutes, I was able to name 17 people. Many fought hard and are amazing survivors and some fought really really hard and still lost the battle.

THAT IS WHY I WALK - TOO MANY PEOPLE CLOSE TO ME AND CLOSE TO YOU ARE AFFECTED BY BREAST CANCER.

I am required to raise at least $1,800 to EARN MY 39, but I plan to raise much, much more! I hope that I can count on your support!
