We are so glad you've stopped by. Let us introduce ourselves!
We are a crew of 13 kids (and 4 adult team leaders) who have volunteered to help make the 2016 Avon39 Boston Walk the biggest and best Walk yet. We come from as close as the Boston suburbs to as far as the California coast - all with one mission:
TO END BREAST CANCER.
We might be young. We might be small. But don't let our size fool you.
- When the other crews arrive to start setting up for the event, WE'LL BE THERE.
- When the Walkers arrive to sign in, WE'LL BE THERE.
- When thousands of walkers - women, men, young, old, survivors, fighters, and friends - all show up at daybreak to take the first step in their marathon-and-a-half march against this disease, WE'LL BE THERE.
- All along the way, as those walkers laugh and cry and are tired and need a pick-up and a push and a cheer, WE'LL BE THERE.
- When they walk in to camp at the end of the first day, exhausted and proud, WE'LL BE THERE.
- When they wake the next morning and are facing another 13 miles to the finish, WE'LL BE THERE.
- WE WILL SEE THEM all along the way on that last push, and
- When they walk through the arch after a day and a half on their feet in the fight against this disease, WE'LL BE THERE AS WELL.
We have dreams.
When we grow up, we want to be doctors and dancers,
astronauts and athletes, teachers and tv stars.
And we want to beat breast cancer.

The Avon Breast Cancer Crusade qualifies under Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code. Launched in 1992, the Crusade is affiliated with the Avon Foundation for Women. The Crusade’s philanthropic commitment is to enable access to medical advances and support services for breast cancer patients, particularly those from vulnerable populations, and to invest in research on the prevention, diagnostics, and treatment of breast cancer. Funding is awarded to beneficiaries ranging from leading cancer centers to community-based breast health programs for awareness and education; screening and diagnosis; access to treatment; support services; and scientific research.
